Where to Stream Christmas Movies All Year Long

For many people, Christmas isn’t just a season - it’s a feeling. And Christmas movies have a magical way of bringing comfort, nostalgia, and joy.

For some of us, one month of holiday cheer just isn’t enough. The music, the decorations, the twinkling lights - and the movies of course - are all part of what makes the season feel so special.

Thanks to streaming services, you don’t have to pack away the Christmas spirit with your ornaments. You can watch holiday favorites any time of the year. You just need to know where to look.

Many of the big streaming services keep a bunch of Christmas movies on their platforms all year long. So, whether you’re in the mood for a heartwarming classic or a silly rom-com, there’s a good chance you can find what you’re looking for.

Here you will find some of the best options for year-round Christmas movie streaming.

Hallmark+
Some streaming services really lean into Christmas, and many people believe that Hallmark is the Christmas specialist.

If you’re a fan of heartwarming romances, friendly small towns, and lots of snow-covered scenery, then Hallmark+ is a top choice. This on-demand service features hundreds of holiday titles, including both past fan favorites and recent releases. While Hallmark’s main TV channel runs a “Countdown to Christmas” each year starting in October, this app lets you stream many of those movies any time of year.

Great American Pure Flix
Great American Pure Flix is a newcomer to the world of both Christmas movies and streaming. This faith and family focused service has a strong lineup of holiday movies. It’s especially good if you enjoy films with inspirational or faith-based themes.

Disney+
For families with kids, or anyone who loves nostalgia, Disney+ is a must. You’ll find classics like “The Santa Clause” series, “Home Alone”, and many animated favorites. While Disney+ leans into Christmas more during November and December, many titles remain available year-round.

It’s the perfect place for a cozy movie night with the kids - or for adults who want to relive the magic of childhood Christmas mornings. With Disney+, you’re pretty much guaranteed to find some family-friendly holiday fun.

Hulu
Hulu offers a mix of holiday movies, though the selection varies more than Disney+. It’s worth checking their “Holiday” hub, especially around December, but you’ll often still find a handful of Christmas titles sprinkled in throughout the off-season.

You should be aware that the standalone Hulu app will be phased out in 2026 and its content will be fully integrated into the Disney+ streaming service.

HBO Max
HBO Max usually includes some holiday classics and family favorites in its library. It’s not the most consistent platform for year-round Christmas viewing, but when the season hits, they bring out a strong lineup. Keep an eye out for Warner Bros. classics, animated specials, and festive comedies.

They have some of the most popular Christmas movies that you can't always find everywhere else. Often, you'll be able to find classics like “Elf”, “The Polar Express”, and “National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation”. They also have a lot of animated specials and some more recent holiday hits.

Netflix
Netflix is known for its growing library of original holiday films. The platform doesn’t have the biggest year-round library, but it’s a good choice for fans of Netflix Originals. Every year, they roll out new Christmas originals, with the most well-known probably being “The Christmas Chronicles”.

Netflix also rotates in some classics like “White Christmas” or “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, so it’s worth checking their holiday section even outside of December.

Amazon Prime Video
Prime Video isn’t dedicated to Christmas movies, but it has an extensive library of titles available to rent, buy, or stream for free with an Amazon Prime subscription. From *It’s a Wonderful Life* to newer Amazon originals, you can often find Christmas movies here when they disappear from other platforms.

The nice thing about Amazon Prime Video is that you can usually find even the harder-to-track-down titles here, so it’s a reliable backup when other services don’t have what you want.

Tubi
Not everyone wants to pay for another streaming subscription. And fortunately, you don’t have to. Free ad-supported streaming services are a hidden gem for Christmas fans.

Tubi has a surprisingly large collection of holiday movies, including many that stay available all year. These movies do include ads, but they’re still a great way to stream without paying extra.

Pluto TV
Pluto TV offers many themed live TV channels, and around the holidays they often run a 24/7 Christmas movie channel. Many of the Christmas titles remain on-demand year-round.

Like most other free services, Pluto TV also includes ads, but they’re worth it for the great free content.

Peacock
NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service has made a name for itself with a solid collection of classic and modern Christmas films. Think “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, “The Family Stone”, and “Love Actually”. Titles rotate throughout the year, but Peacock tends to keep at least a handful of Christmas movies available even in the off-season.

Streaming services have made it possible to celebrate Christmas whenever the mood hits. Whether you’re in the mood for a heartwarming Hallmark romance, a childhood favorite like *Home Alone*, or a silly Christmas comedy, you don’t have to wait until December anymore.

There’s something comforting about turning on a Christmas movie when you need a little lift, even in July. Maybe it’s the nostalgia, maybe it’s the cozy atmosphere, or maybe it’s just the joy of hearing those familiar holiday songs.

Don’t let the time of year stop you from enjoying a little Christmas magic. With so many streaming services keeping holiday movies available, you can celebrate the most wonderful time of the year whenever you want.

So, grab some hot chocolate or maybe some icy cold lemonade, (depending on the season), choose your platform, and let the Christmas movie marathon begin! Happy streaming!
